Every company has a beginning. Ours began in a living room.

In 2020, after returning from missionary service, our founder was at one of the lowest points of his life — no clear direction, no business plan, no vision for what the future would hold.

Then an unexpected conversation changed everything. A man came to rent an apartment where the founder's mother worked as caretaker. As he described his business, one word kept standing out: technology.

Technology had always sparked his curiosity. So when the man mentioned GPS vehicle tracking and security systems, something clicked.

Instead of a job, the company offered something more valuable — the chance to learn: six months of intensive training, with employment to follow. Two days later, he left for Benin City.

That decision became the foundation of what is now Primera Automations.

The training taught the technical skills. The real education came from the field.

Installing GPS trackers, dash cameras and fleet systems for logistics companies across Nigeria, one pattern became impossible to ignore: drivers would offer to bribe technicians to disable the very devices meant to keep them accountable. Fuel theft, unauthorised trips, cargo diversion and asset misuse were quietly draining businesses of money, time and trust.

It became clear that technology wasn't about installing devices. It was about protecting businesses and creating accountability.

That realisation shaped our purpose. Today, Primera Automations delivers intelligent technology that secures homes, protects businesses, optimises fleets and gives people peace of mind — from GPS fleet management and AI video surveillance to electric fencing, access control, renewable energy and smart automation. We help businesses reduce theft, improve accountability, optimise operations and prevent costly losses through intelligent technology.
